Hiten's Story
As I spent more and more time with Kalpa I began to see her differently and I could picture myself spending the rest of my life with her, I needed to woo her...so I planned to give her a propsal that she just couldn't say no to.
Kalpa's Story
At the time Hiten and I were on holiday in Dubai visiting his family.
It was two nights before we were due to return and Hiten had arranged dinner at one of the most luxurious hotels in Dubai. The outdoor seafood restaurant where we were dining was surrounded by an amazing lagoon area and there were gondola style boats that took you round the whole resort.
Anyway Hiten suggested that we take a ride on one of these boats and I thought why not, after all it was a beautiful evening. Before I knew the boat had stopped and all of a sudden the most beautiful ring I had ever seen appeared out of nowhere into Hiten’s hands and that was the moment he asked me to marry him. I was stuck for words and all that could come out of me was tears, I couldn’t stop crying. And then it dawned on me that this was for real and I screamed "yes, I will marry you!"
I'd dreamed about this moment but could never have believed it would be so perfect in reality. The memories of that evening have a precious place in my heart and I shall never ever forget it.
